CALL FOR TECHNICAL/SCIENTIFIC PAPERS
The 12th ITS Asia Pacific Forum & Exhibition 2012 is now calling for technical papers for the Forum and publication on Powering Transformation in Transportation. The papers submitted shall:
  • be in English;
  • be original in content, with necessary copyright releases where relevant;
  • not be commercial in nature or advertorial, or promoting any specific product;
  • based on original research and development or real world project or deployment experiences that may be relevant to development, use and /or application of ITS;
  • preferably cover topics along the following themes:
1 Advanced Vehicle Technologies
9 Security, Enforcement, Legislation
2 Communications 10 Funding and Management of ITS Projects
3 Traveller Information Services, Messaging Systems , Parking Systems 11 Logistics, Commercial Vehicle Operations
4 Transport Management and Network Operations I 12 Emerging Technologies I
5 Transport Management and Network Operations II 13 Emerging Technologies II
6 Advanced Public Transport Applications 14 System Architectures, Planning, Standardization, Cooperative Systems
7 Detection Systems, Modelling 15 User Perspectives, Sustainability
8 Toll Collections, Congestion Charging 16 Telematics, Location Based Services


Selected excellent papers from the 12th ITS AP Forum and Exhibition 2012 would be invited to publish in the International Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems Research.  The Journal provides a global forum for the discussion of effective solutions for ITS. It is the only international platform to foster wide-ranging discussion across disciplines by bringing together a broad-based audience for solutions-oriented information and discussion.


Guidelines for Submission of Abstracts

Abstracts should be limited to 500 words. The abstract should be preceded by the author's full name, professional affiliations, organisation, position and contact details. Once the abstract has been accepted, the author shall be guided by a detailed submission requirement. The author is required to submit the full paper and presentation within the stipulated date. All submissions shall be transmitted via emails in editable softcopy sufficient for  final arrangement and layout for printing in the Forum's Proceedings. All presenters shall be required to be registered as delegates prior to acceptance of final papers for printing.
